The user-participating mobile idol fandom app ‘IDOL CHAMP’ conducted a vote from November 25 to December 9 on the theme of ‘Which Idol’s comeback does Fan PD look forward to the most in December?’

• Receiving 31.55% of the total 135,484 votes, MONSTA X ranked first in ‘Fan PD’s Most Anticipated Idol to Comeback in December’, who entered the overseas promotion schedule with their second English regular album ‘The Dreaming’ on December 10.   

• MONSTA X was also selected as the ‘Fan PD’s Most Anticipated Idol to Comeback in November’ last month, setting a record of being selected as ‘Fan PD’s Most Anticipated Comeback Idol of the Month’ for two consecutive months for a domestic and overseas comeback.   

• A six-member boy group under Starship Entertainment, MONSTA X was formed through the survival program, ‘NO. MERCY’ in 2015, and made its official debut in May 2015 with the release of first mini-album ‘TRESPASS’ after three months of training.

• Known as ‘the master of performance’, MONSTA X is being loved by many fans at home and abroad for its rough hip-hop energy and playfulness, unlike other male idols.

• ‘THE DREAMING’ is the second regular album in English, which was released 22 months after the release of the first English album ‘ALL ABOUT LUV’ in February 2020, and contains the message; ‘In 2021, we lost a lot but also found hopes. We are all connected through the medium of ‘music’’.

• This album has 10 songs and shows the unique charms of MONSTA X, different from the previous albums. Especially, the title track ‘You Problem’ is an exciting disco-style song with a twist and shows a funky and bouncy charm in the retro-style music video.

• Meanwhile, Kep1er(22.6%), unfortunately, ranked 2nd in the ‘Fan PD’s Most Anticipated Idol to Comeback in December’ poll after MONSTA X, followed by ONF (17.56%), TWICE (8.62%), and ITZY (6.53%). The result can be found in the global Hallyu (Korean Wave) community, GstarLive.

• ‘IDOL CHAMP’ is selling voting tickets for the ‘31st Seoul Music Awards’ at a discount of up to 10% until January 16, 2022. In addition, a vote for the “31st Seoul Music Awards” photo wall advertisement will be held until January 5, 2022. There are 50 candidates, including BTS, IU, Seventeen, aespa, THE BOYZ, EXO, MONSTA X, and SUPER JUNIOR. The winner will be presented with the photo wall advertisement at the venue of ‘The 31st Seoul Music Awards’.
